Meet Shifu Hwang
For over 40 years, Shifu Hwang has dedicated his life to studying Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. His journey started in his father’s herb shop when he was just 14. Later, he went on to graduate from Texas Health & Science University with a master’s degree in acupuncture.
Shifu specializes in cancer care, drawing wisdom from ancient texts like “Xian Tsun Wai Ke Mi Fun”, which he translated into English in 2010 and is available under the title Herbal Surgeon, and “Yizhong Jinjian”, which he is currently in the process of translating.
Bringing together his wealth of expertise in both Chinese herbal medicine and Western medicine, Shifu offers his patients a holistic approach to healthcare that integrates the best of both worlds to address a wide range of health concerns and promote overall well-being.
In addition, Shifu provides a specialized program aimed at assisting Acupuncture School Graduates in expanding their expertise in acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Study. Drawing extensively from esteemed tests such as Yizhong Jingjian and Zhen Gio Da Chen, Shifu’s teaching curriculum offers a robust foundation for practitioners seeking to deepen their knowledge and proficiency in traditional Chinese Medicine.
Shifu continues to invest in continued education. His most recent certificates include a certificate in Oncology, and a certificate in Heart Disease from the Healthcare Medicine Institute in September 2023 and November 2023, respectively.
